2010-2011 Student Survey Results

OVERVIEW
On October 18th and 19th, 2010, students in all Monday 9:05 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. classes and all Tuesday 9:35 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. classes from all campuses were surveyed by the Institutional Research Department. Numerous units and services were investigated including:

• Student demographics (questions 1-21)
• Facilities and equipment (question 22)
• Academic advising (question 23)
• Experience in major (questions 24-27)
• Instructional support services (questions 28-30)
• Experience in general education (questions 31-32)
• Comprehensive studies  (questions 33-41)
• Student schedule preference and barriers to retention (questions 42-52)
• Bookstore, Cafe & Food Services, Cashiers & Bus. Office, Security, Service & Facilities (questions 54-59)
• Library (questions 60-73)
• Admissions Staff & Services, Counseling Staff & Services, Career Staff & Services (questions 74-82)
• College Publications, Financial Aid, Student Records (questions 83-91)

A total of 5,258 surveys were administered based on the enrollment in all classes surveyed and 2,411 were returned for a response rate of 46%.
